Industrial Engineer

**Goals**:- Support assembly operations by establishing production lines; with equipment, fixtures, tooling and safety standards to support the capacity and workloads.- Work within the parameters of the QM System to help achieve general and company-specific quality efforts and growth goals.- Supporting team that can develop customer products by guiding feasibility studies, transfer and setup of equipment, and leveraging local and company experts.**Tasks and Responsibilities.**- Assist as needed with process related issues in all areas of production to achieve the highest possible quality, efficiency and repeatability.- Create work instructions, operating procedures and machine instructions to support the above processes.- Supervise the general quality, efficiency and soundness of the production processes and suggest the necessary corrections to the department coordinators and the engineering coordinator.- Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts in production areas as a continuous improvement initiative.- Submit a report to the engineering coordinator indicating status or achievements, and project plan, as requested- Support Quality Department with PFMEA/PPAPs/Control Plan, etc.**Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities**- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering.- 5 years of experience in final assembly or box build- Bilingual Spanish/English- Experience in NPI- Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement- Knowledge in AutoCAD, Solidworks, ViewMate- Microsoft Office and SAP.
