**Duties & Responsibilities**- Prepare quotation documents in alignment with customer requirements ensuring all customer requirements are addressed.- Evaluate customer requirements including customer specifications, research the necessary data and determine cost effective materials of construction and appropriate lead time for Wet Seal and Wet Seal Systems.- Communicate orally and in writing with customers, sales and company personnel providing counseling, recommendations and technical assistance.- Analyze designs and component part designs, making recommendations for changes to the customer.- Is competent in the use of company tools to establish the necessary product selection complete with appropriate costing and pricing.- Completes Performance Touch Points and Year End reviews in line with company procedures- Maintains effective Procedures to provide consistent support to both internal and external customers.- Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies.- At post order schedule kick-off meetings, perform contract review, create technical file for submittal to post order team. Work experience from centrifugal pumps and mechanical seal industry is preferable but not mandatory.- Minimum 3 years' experience to include engineering design, instrumentation, manufacturing knowledge is essential.- Fresh Graduate can be considered as a Graduate Trainee Engineer.- Working knowledge of relevant industry standards (API 682) is an added advantage.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, changing priorities and reassign priorities to complete assignments.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Effective written and verbal communication skills- English advanced level is required written and oral**About Smiths****About John Crane
